I don't think it's a good idea to combine the reviews for the original version with the new version. Nice to see some actors that aren't "in everything" if you know what I mean.

Although the newer version changed the story quite a bit, the tune is still the same. Who knows right? This movie also has two versions, here is the older version (1981) played by Brooke Shields. A classic tear jerker which stands test of time & better than remake. The endless love song does not match this movie. I am 72 years young and a push over for anything romantic. Fast delivery, good packaging, I'm very happy with my purchase, brilliant quality I was so happy to eventually find it! I've watched the remake of this and preferred the storyline that one to this one, but the guy in this one is much better looking than the new one, in fact he looks so much like Jamie Dorman.. 5.0 out of 5 stars Five Stars.
